Focused on ideation and execution of experiences for thousands of U.S. & Canada-based WeWork members to network with like-minded entrepreneurs outside of their office — curated per market to also serve as company incentive trips, educational workshops, lead generation, and seasonal entertainment to increase member morale and retention.

Senior Strategic Events Lead, North America

  • Lead Event Producer: Primary stakeholder in offsite member experiences solely overseeing all aspects of signature event production and overnight trips

  • Event Strategy: Originating a sub-brand to pitch, source, and execute all-inclusive retreats and themed events designed for member engagement and retention in all U.S & Canada cities with market-wide functions and trips

  • Multi-Media Event Marketing: Website design and construction for ticketing platforms as well as WeWork’s Private Event Portfolio for all U.S. venues, email templates, mass communication strategy, and in-building promotions

  • Sponsorship & Vendor Management: Forging event partnerships and managing third-party relationships, deliverables, and presence across event brand

  • Curated Internal Events & Experiences: Securing venues, talent, and logistics for multi-day retreats, executive offsites and team outings for up to 1200 people

I had the pleasure of hiring, managing and working closely with Lauren for almost 2 years at WeWork. We were responsible for curating from conception to execution a series of seasonal Experiential Events for all WeWork members in US, Canada and Israel Markets. Although I was managing Lauren, I continued to learn from her everyday, Lauren is hands down the hardest worker out there, her attitude and work ethic truly inspired me. Despite not always having clear direction and support, Lauren is able to make magic when it comes to curating special experiences. Lauren would casually be the first one in the office, last one to leave, still respond to emails when everyone was sleeping and somehow still had time to stay active in the mornings or in the evenings, with always a smile on her face. I'm excited to see what's next for Lauren in her professional career and I hope to one day work together again!
